A group of Lorma Colleges employees climbed the Mt. Sto. Tomas and Mt. Cabuyao of Tuba, Benguet, Friday, to celebrate the 111th Philippine Independence Day. Mts. Cabuyao and Sto. Tomas (2,256 meters above sea level) the twin mountains known as the “Tenga ng Baguio or electric fan ng Baguio” is also the highest point of Baguio, they are known to be the heart of communication in the city of pines. The mountains’ main occupants were towering radars and cell sites on top and wide vegetation on its shoulders. |

Filipino nurses still in demand by U.S. hospitals
DESPITE a drop in the deployment of Filipino nurses to the USA last year, a representative from Cambridge Healthcare will be arriving again in Manila very soon to interview the next batch of healthcare professionals provided by Makati-based St. Georges Recruitment International Inc. Cambridge Healthcare will interview registered nurses, as well as physical and occupational therapists for deployment to hospitals and healthcare facilities all over the USA.
