Lorma is number 1 College of Nursing in La Union with the longest list of new registered nurses in the entire region 1 and Philippines' number 8 in the rank of schools with more than 500 examinees in June 2007, NLE (Based on PRC report on June 2007 Nurses Licensure Examination).

The Lorma Nursing Resource Center (LNRC) was formally opened on June 26, 2007 at 10 AM. A cutting of the ribbon was done by Dr. Rufino L. Macagba, Jr., President, Lorma Inc. and Director Jose P. Mainggang. Dean Ludivina D. Magpali, members of the Nursing Academic Council, deans & heads of the different departments and staff were present during the opening.

Last March 23, 2007, the Commission on Higher Education has invited the College of Computer Science and Engineering for the awarding ceremony of the institutions selected as Centers of Excellence (COE) and Centers of Development (COD)

We are pleased to inform everyone that Medium, the official magazine of Lorma Highlights, was awarded as the Best Magazine in the Philippines during the 67th National College Editors Guild Convention held at Silliman University, Dumaguete City last April 13-17, 2007.

      Kevin Alexis V. Nisperos from III-Marie Curie of the Lorma Colleges Special Science High School was awarded 2nd Class Honours at the 2006 International Deserts and Desertification Art and Design Competition held at City University of Hongkong in Kowloon, Hongkong on February 24-28, 2007. 

      The Lorma Grade School and Science High School Teams won at the APEC 2006 International Cyber Academy. This is a collaborative international online contest where different teams from countries around the world participate in various categories.
