Training the trainers

Lorma Colleges is the only private institution in La Union offering Trainers Methodology Level 1: Trainer / Assessor (TM1). TM1 training is intended to all professionals, trainers, teachers and industry experts who wish to teach technical-vocational courses. This trainings is a Competency Based Training (CBT) wherein trainee may enroll and finish the course anytime.

Entry Requirements:

  • 18 years old and aboe
  • Copy of National Certificate (minimum of NC Level 2)
  • Binded copy of Training Regulations (based on submitted NC)
  • Employment Certificate (if employed)
  • 3 pcs passport size with white background
  • Computer Literate
  • Active Facebook account

Competency Review, Assessment and Skills-Upgrading (CRAS) Program

This caters to individuals who are already in the industry or in their field of specialization who wish to be granted a National Certificate by TESDA. The CRAS program is design for a fast raining and a concentration on a single area or subject.

Entry Requirements:

  • Industry worker
  • Portfolio relevant to the competency applying for
  • Relevant and current training
  • Prior knowledge of the competency applying for
  • Undergo validation assessment / exam (written, interview, demonstration and observation)
  • Third party recommendation

  • Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing (32 hours)

Single Qualification

This is a competency based training (CBT) which focuses on a single qualification with the required number of hours set in the Training Regulations by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). CBT is a self-paced, individualized type of training allowing trainees to enter and exit the program any time.

  • 18 years and above
  • Senior High School Graduate
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate
  • Senior High School Report Cards
  • Transfer credentials for transferees

  • Photography NCII (132 hours / 1 month)
  • Computer Systems Servicing NCII (280 hours / 2 months)
  • Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing NCII (270 hours / 2 months)
  • Biomedical Equipment Servicing NCII (960 hours / 6 months)
  • Visual Graphic Design NCIII (470 hours / 2 months)
  • 2D Animation NCIII (840 hours / 5 months)
  • 3D Animation NCIII (1040 hours / 6 months)
  • 2D Game Arts Development NCIII (1136 hours / 7 months)

Bundled Qualifications

This course provides skill base, in depth training and on site practicum which will produce multi-skilled graduates via semestral mode of training with the duration of 1 to 2 years.
